Hello Round Meadow Families! We are kicking off Y.E.S. Month (Sept 15-Oct 15) — our annual pledge campaign. Y.E.S stands for Yearly Educational Support and is our most important fundraiser of the year! A big thanks to all who have pledged their support so far!! The money we took in this year thus far is already at work. All classes have started their weekly computer classes, and our arts program is in full swing: with weekly music and art classes and the weekly PE program has begun as well. All of this is funded through our Y.E.S. fund, NOT through state or district funds. These programs exist in our school solely based on parental support.
During this time, the classes will compete for the highest levels of participation within their group (K/1, 2/3, 4/5). The class with the highest participation percentage will have their teacher’s classroom wish up to $1,000 granted by the PFA. Each week this month, we’ll send an update showing where the classes rank in the competition. We are in forward motion with 55% participation school wide! WE CAN DO BETTER!!! READ MORE
